..we hope. Well the extravaganza opened. After an extremely hard tech week the show opened to laughter, shouts, applause and a standing ovation. The girls are so pretty - both the male and female ones. The walls moved, the apartment slid, and well no one was killed. To top it all off it felt like old times with fellow blogger Michael in attendance for the performance and after party...ahh the fun. PS if you haven't seen Tim in his red onesy it is a true treat (hopefully pictures coming soon)
The Dirty Pirate Hookers were out in style and force tonight. After contemplating starting a lounge act that would bring Peoria to their knees - the captain and first mate decided to part ways for the evening. Too much trouble to get into.
It was a sad farewell to Tralen, our director. He was truly the wizard and spirit behind all the magic for the show. A true visionary - now if things were only as easy on stage as they are in his mind. I promise to keep striving for the magic and perhaps get those damn confetti cannons to work!!!!The one party ended up at Denise with baking "cookies" and drinking lots of vodka and a visit from ZZ Top. It has been so long I almost forgot what he looked like.
Now all Denise has to do is get two people trained to take her place and perhaps the Bosnian won't die of a heartattack. Or maybe that is being caused by his new sound board....
