THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA

Curtains Down on South Pacific...Not sure what can be said, we will definitely miss the sold out houses but not the delays in the kitchen (10 min hold please). Some things to remember: "Shug Aire", Comics Tutus, Step Bump SP style, The first beer pong tournament, blackouts before Act II, curtains coming in instead of out, and of course the new piece of the "toast" - South Pacific - Il-est- ya mom!











Kiss Me, Kate Opens!!! - "BIG SET COMING THRU!!" The poor cast has all been drafted for technical crew work. It takes the entire cast minus a few every time we change the scenic peices. Boy did that take some orchestration and some fighting and a Tim explosion, more arguing and of course the final product. Thank goodness for everyone's help or the crew would still be moving the set for the show that opened last Friday night. It would be an epic journey in theatre going. Some of the peices have been renamed the "Titanic" and "the Queen Mary" and of course "the Iceberg".


In keeping with the curse of the show(twisted knees, sickness, set pieces, emotional breakdowns, etc), poor Sean fell victim to the evilness of the curse. He was unable to perform due to an injury inflicted on the first dress rehearsal. Thus we had to call on one of our favorite kittie kats - Dave. In a five hour rehearsal Tugger learned the two dance numbers, had a costume fitting and went on for final dress/preview. We all must say that he did a great job. Oddly enough this is the night that all of the production photos were shot. He has been immortalized as part of this cast and show, which he was truly only a part of for 10 hours (although it was a glorious 10 hours).

In other news here are a few tidbits of...dare we say gossip????
* Todd came to visit
* Kurtis checks out the TR KNIGHT website to find out the truth about the Grey's Drama
* Tim got his haircut - finally and looked like someone from Colorado or Missoula in his yellow jacket
* Zanna got wasted during a crazy game of speed moose - more to come on how she tatoo'd herself
* Tim still cannot say "Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit" He even has trouble saying "Honey Budda Mudder" - which will soon be added to the lyrics of "I've Come to Wive it Wealthly"
* Michael spent this week obessing about making forts out of blankets, chairs and tables. I think that there may be a future as an architect here
* Some men and women have said that Jason's voice makes their labia quiver...yikes
*Lisa Ann and Shanna have started their own hiphop dance team. They have staked their territory and the crew boys are not allowed to "front" in the green room
* In return the Crew Boyz have staked claim to the backstage area and soon there could be shoes hanging from the electrics to mark their territory.
* It is rumored that the Bosnian cried at a viewing of Grey's Anatomy.
